WHO PUT THOSE NAKED LADIES IN MY GARDEN— STORIES YOUR MOTHER NEVER TOLD YOU!!!

Allan Armitage, Emeritus Professor of Horticulture at the University of Georgia, will share his wisdom and wit, and an evening of good old-fashioned story-telling. Allan brings a wealth of plant knowledge to the table as a well-known writer, speaker, and researcher. He has written 16 books that serve as classroom texts, reference books, and gardeners’ companions.

This fun-filled evening will be punctuated with some of Allan’s tales from his latest book, Of Naked Ladies and Forget-me-Nots: The Stories Behind the Common Names of Some of our Favorite Plants.

Delicious appetizers, wine, and craft beers are also on the agenda. Copies of Allan’s books will be available for sale and signing.

All proceeds benefit the Rawlings Conservatory..
