November 5 – Plants and People Sunday, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., “Ask a Master Gardener.” Find out how to keep your plants happy and thriving. A Master Gardener from the University of Maryland Extension Service will be on site to answer all of your gardening questions. Free, though a $5 per person donation is encouraged.

November 12 – Plants and People Sunday, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., “Exploration Station.” Elementary-aged children and youth experience fun and educational hands-on horticulture activities. Free, though a $5 per person donation is encouraged.

November 16 – Cocktails at the Conservatory, 6:30 – 8:30, Come taste unique and expertly mixed cocktails by area master mixologists, created to showcase plants and flowers that can be found in the Conservatory’s collections. Sip beverages inspired by the Conservatory, and ask the mixologists how to incorporate botanicals into drinks at home. Join us for this Friends of the Rawlings Conservatory event to toast the Conservatory and help support and preserve this gem of Baltimore for future generations! Ticket sales and more information coming soon. 

November 19 – Plants and People Sunday, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., “Sprouts.” Introduce your pre-k and early elementary-aged children to the world of plants with a craft activity. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Free, though a $5 per person donation is encouraged.

November 23 – Thanksgiving – CONSERVATORY CLOSED

November 26 – Plants and People Sunday, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., “Science Demonstration.” Join Dr. Alan Stone for demonstrations and items on display. Explore the interconnections between plants, science, and even engineering. Explore the science behind the plants with Dr. Stone! Bring your curiosity to the conservatory, and discover the interconnection between plants and people in our everyday world.
