Children’s Public Programs:

Join us on the second Sunday of each month, 1:30 – 3:30 PM, at our Plants and People series, “Exploration Station,” for elementary-aged children and youth to experience fun and educational hands-on gardening with a project to take home.

Join us the third Sunday of each month, 1:30 – 3:30 PM, at our Plants and People series, “Sprouts,” to introduce pre-K and early elementary children to the world of plants, with a craft activity, followed by story time. Story time begins at 2:30 PM, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us the fourth Sunday of each month, 1:30 – 3:30 PM, at our Plants and People series, “Science Demonstration,” with Dr. Alan Stone for demonstrations and items on display. Explore the interconnection between plants, science, and even engineering.

Our  weekly Plants and People program offers fun and educational activities for children, adults and family. The theme changes monthly, please check our calendar for the most up-to-date information.

Check back for more information about our Wednesday night series, returning this Summer to complement the Druid Hill Farmers’ Market.
