Druid Hill Farmers’ Market

FINAL MARKET OF THE SEASON, SEPTEMBER 26! Come visit for local produce, artisan baked goods, free-range eggs and meat, crafts, and a full schedule of FREE programming. DOOR PRIZES, family yoga, story time with Councilman Mosby, Tree Tour, and live music! These are just a few of the attractions that make the farmers’ market the place to meet with friends, family, and community members this summer.

Wednesday, September 26

September 26 - Druid Hill Farmers’ Market, 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. (Conservatory open until 7 p.m.)
3:30 – 7:30, Music: Blair Alive Acoustics, enjoy traditional folk and acoustic music, featuring banjo and guitar. 
4 – 7, DOOR PRIZES! Stop by the Friends’ booth or the Conservatory reception desk for your chance to take home some delights of the market and Druid Hill Park: Anne Draddy’s book, an apple tree, a basket of goodies, a ticket to the Mum show sneak peek party, and more!
5 – 5:30, Story time with Councilman Nick Mosby
5 – 6, Family Yoga in the Garden, all ages, free. Introduce children to the art of yoga and physical fitness, or practice on your own, surrounded by the idyllic beauty of the garden. All levels welcome. Please bring your own mat or blanket.
5  6:30, Tree Tour with the City Naturalist, come benefit from the encyclopedic knowledge of the City Naturalist and the bounty of wonderful tree specimens in Druid Hill Park!
5:30 – 6:30, Living Chair Celebration
